A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

ReplyDeletethe biscuits fell out of the shopping trolley/cart and a car ran over them.Clever
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was "oh how sad!"
ReplyDeleteCrushed!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
Can't help with the missing woman. I hope somebody can. Good luck.
Love it! It took me a second to see the crumbs--they kind of blend into the paint. Anti-social as in stomping on the social cookies. Kind of like "I'll show you social!" Great pic!
ReplyDeleteFirst thought? What a shame...
ReplyDeleteRobin @ PENSIEVE
What a waste of some good cookies! Great photo!! Good WW to you & Happy Holidays!! Idaho Daily Photo

ReplyDeleteDid my kids do that?
ReplyDeleteI can be that too! Thanks for dropping by my site...and you're right, I can see myself doing this every week!
ReplyDeleteCRUNCH! That's what I thought of: the sound of running something over and the surprised driver hopping out of the car to see what made the noise.
ReplyDeleteEspecially with the title, this one makes you think. My first thought is that it reminds me of watching the news and hearing about how so many don't respect others. I could go on and on. Thanks for the thought provoking picture. Also, thanks for visiting and commenting on my WW post.
ReplyDeleteI think someone needed some hot chocolate to wash those crumbs down.
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste of good cookies.. giggle.
Oh dear...poor cookie!
ReplyDeleteHere's mine for today!
Yen's Wordless
Happy Holidays!!!
I'm fairly anti-social. I can relate to the person who smashed the cookies. LOL!
ReplyDeleteCome visit my Wordless Wednesday if you get a moment! :)
Actually, my first thought was that it so closely resembles "real" society. Things are so not like they were when I was little.
ReplyDeleteWow, that was depressing...lol
Happy WW!
Yumminess turned into litter. :-{
ReplyDeleteBobbie @ The Right Blue
Wile E. Coyote has set another trap for Roadrunner.

ReplyDeleteWell, because I read the title to the post first, my first thought was someone stepped on the cookies! :D
ReplyDeleteSerena

ReplyDeleteMy first thought. . . .oh no! they're gone!
ReplyDeleteSocial? Maybe to a leper colony...

Answers to the Questions
Unfortunately Carmi, I don't live in the area so I don't know how much help I could be...
ReplyDeleteMy first thought? Somebody lost their cookies! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's a bummer! Happy WW!
hope it was just the cookies that got squashed!
ReplyDeleteDang, I'm amazed you can see the crumb powder trail.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought? Filthy pigs! I hate litter bugs. It's also a sad waste of cookies, LOL. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteMy WW pics can be seen at Siani's Pot-Pourri.
aw.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great candid - especially given the nature/name of the package. I think it represents a sad loss of civility in today's society all the way around.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Holly
I've never tried that product. Is it good?
ReplyDeleteAw, bummer. The tea party's going to be lacking today.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! :D
Actually, I like your title best. Nice word play, the visual resounding with the term . . .Bravo! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it!

ReplyDeletehttp://katskrackerbox.wordpress.com/2007/12/19/wordless-wednesday-9-christmas-tree-at-work/
What a waste. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteFirst thought was poor little kid lost his cookies.
ReplyDelete:)
Hiya Carmi! Thanks for stopping by my blog, yeah, long time no comment!
ReplyDeleteI saw the powder in the picture, and it made me think of that song (which name escapes me) about the guy driving at night and the "little white lines" he's seeing on the highway which is in reality a drug reference. Steve Earle maybe?
I much prefer my second impression which was realizing they were crushed cookies and not something to be snorted.
Interesting, considering I've never done anything like that. Huh, maybe you should start posting inkblots, eh?
Trampled!
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste!!! LOL There will be some happy social ants though!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
First thought? Hungry now.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW
Vixen
http://vixensden.wordpress.com
It's a mess and what a waste.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...1st thought? - that I sure wouldn't want to eat them now! haha :)
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was simply that someone ran over the box because it fell out of someone's car/grocery bag. Of course, then I wandered where it was because then that determines who picks it up (and whether or not it will be me---either somewhere around my house in one form or another, or whether I'd do a kindness and pick it up for someone else)
ReplyDeleteMine's up, kinda late, but enjoy. Nothing quite so deep.

ReplyDeleteFirst thought was... "Oh, that's too bad!"
