I love people who take pride in their work, because it's all important, isn't it?

This was, as always, a wonderful story, Carmi.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08817799398537973505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-1098729943959264222004-10-25T14:45:00.000-04:002004-10-25T14:45:00.000-04:00Again, Carmi, this article resonates with me. I've been relatively successful in my life but the one thing of which I'm probably most proud is that I seem to get along with people from all walks of life. It's strange that this, of all things, sticks out in my mind and makes me feel good about myself. In some way when things are going horribly wrong, as they eventually do at times, this thought helps me realize that I'm probably not a horrible person. But, then again, maybe I'm just delusional!Canuckehhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04146718006878494362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-1098636637471050342004-10-24T12:50:00.000-04:002004-10-24T12:50:00.000-04:00I have never understood the mindset that says it's...I have never understood the mindset that says it's OK to be rude or abusive to people because of their social standing or their job. Maybe that puts me in the minority, but I treat everyone I meet in pretty much the same way. I'm something of an introvert, so I don't tend to start conversations with everyone I meet, but I treat the cleaners in my office with the same degree of courtesy and friendliness as I do the president of the company.

They're both people, aren't they?

Oddly enough, it's the cleaners who are most likely to smile back ... guess I'm beneath the president's notice. Or maybe he's just shy - who am I to judge?Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18303964406986534369noreply@blogger.com
