A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

a Peach. But only if it's ripe.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying your media blitz! :)
Carmi, thanks for visiting my blog. I love the orange! How about a coconut next? Is that a fruit? Or something fuzzy like a kiwi. Combine the 2 and you have a fuzzy navel. Sorry, that was soooo bad. Been working too hard!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I love the color Carmi!
ReplyDeletegrapes :D
ReplyDeleteStarfruit? Dissected.
ReplyDeleteA strawberry! :D
ReplyDeleteNext - Cherry :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
My WW here & here
LOL Okay, the caption TOTALLY makes this photo! Love it!
ReplyDeleteNice shot, I say go for some nice ripe watermelon.
ReplyDeletewhen 'gazing' at navels, you need to touch it. The smoother the skin, the better :)
ReplyDeleteNice angle on this one. I like the heavy shadow on it. Well done.
ReplyDeleteMy WW post for this week is up.
great perspective. for the next fruit, how about a pomegranate?
ReplyDeletehappy ww. ;)
Ugli fruit.
ReplyDelete(I'm just glad this wasn't a body part series...!)
My kids love navel oranges, they call them bely button oranges. As for waht to shoot next.....Hummmm...If you can find it (and stand the stench) a durian would make a fascinating fruit study.
ReplyDeleteContemplating your navel, eh?
ReplyDeleteHave you done a photo of a kiwi yet? I think that'd be interesting.
Well, have a fabulous WW, and stop by if you have time.
nice navel!!
ReplyDeletehaha...can consider a water melon??
one before slice and the other sliced open?
Love the colour. Great Shot.
ReplyDeleteComing into season here - yum.
What about a pomegranate? Those are cool...
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice picture, by the way...
My post today: "This is my hometown".
Happy WW!

Lovely colour, it's making my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteMaybe some strawberries next.
Strawberry would be nice.... maybe it would mean spring.
ReplyDeleteorange you glad we came to visit your interestingly lighted shot--even w/ the heavy shadow it still looks happy the orange is such a happy fruit:) I say shoot a pomegranate next they are so interesting or a star fruit it is hard to make them look good
ReplyDeleteLove this shot of the orange. It's very effective in it's simplicity and bold too :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like you to shoot a kiwi fruit. Not so pretty on the outside but amazing when you slice into it :)
Sorry I haven't been by much lately. Life is not so good right now but I'm blogging when I can.
your title is perfect!! nice macro..... perhaps a cantaloupe....they have such interesting texture on their rinds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orange! How about strawberries next?
ReplyDeleteNice close up! You can really see the texture of the orange. I think you should do a strawberry next.
ReplyDeleteStrawberries are just in season. Or pomegranate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
great orange! how about the inside of a pomegranate next?
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
Your orange looks so good that I can smell the citrusy goodness clear over here in the midwest!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo.
Happy WW!
Love the caption and the photo...
ReplyDeleteMmmmm tasty. :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Holly
Now i think I am craving an orange...
ReplyDeleteTake a pic of a star fruit...
Hey Carmi~
ReplyDeleteHappy WW to you! Nice shot of the navel :D I'd like to see a photo of something tropical...
knock knock knock knock!
ReplyDeletehappy ww!
you should shoot the fruit of the south the peanut!
What a great idea! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteI'll say strawberry! Great shot by the way!Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteMy so called life
Happy WW
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orange! How about a strawberry or a lime?
ReplyDeleteGreat pic! I think you should go with kiwis, they are fun.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the kid's book "How are you Peeling?"
not sure why, but i've had a recent obsession with pomegranates, so i reckon you should shoot the inside of one - i think they're amazing, but maybe i'm just a bit weird (lol)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fruit is a pear - any variety, although I am partial to Asian pears.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are wonderful, Carmi. I always enjoy them!
Strawberries. Maybe Grapes. Pineapple has it's own interesting textures. Oh.. don't ask me! The orange one is good!
ReplyDeleteI agree with barb, a kiwi would be fun! Thanks for your nice comment on my WW last week, feel free to download it if you like (the gemstones). Nice closeup of the navel. I have a drawer full of oranges we need to eat up quickly before they go bad!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for kiwi. The outside is as fascinating as and different from the inside. The drab brown leading to the shock of emerald inside and that cool pattern when you cut into one? Yup, a kiwi through your magic lens would be an award winner!
ReplyDeletekiwi fruit!!! :DDDD
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should take a banana? If she´s green, I´ll show it to my audience. If she´s yellow, I´ll show the little fellow too :)
