Blue hoodie London, ON April 2012 |
We're a bit late with this week's Thematic. Workload's been a little, um, overwhelming. For a writer, it's a good problem to have. But it means the blog had to take a very temporary back seat to the kind of writing that otherwise keeps the lights on around here. Thank you for your understanding.
This week's theme, got the blues, is an easy one to follow. If you've got a picture with blue in it, or one that even suggests it, post it. That's it!
Your turn: Post a blue-themed pic to your blog. Leave a comment here letting folks know where to find it. Visit other Thematic participants. Rinse. Repeat. Enjoy. Click here for more background on Thematic, our weekly photo exploration/sharing thing. And please accept our thanks: You all make this intensely enjoyable.
I've got a blue lake (scene of Dogvestigations, Inc.) up yesterday.

oh fun—another thematic. and perfect timing! today, in addition to robin's egg blue in my photo, my post is also a bit blue. it has to do with loss, and alzheimer's disease.
ReplyDeletebut, if you care to, you may scroll down and find some happy blue: blue blobs, a blue building and even a blue belly.
I found a new favorite place - Rocky Mountain National Park (along with what seemed like a few thousand other hikers that day). Thatchtop Mountain, looking blue in the haze), reflected in the blue waters of Bierstadt Lake, under bright blue skies that were much bluer than this photo. So blue.
ReplyDeleteMy post is a lot of rambling that some may disagree with, that's their right, as it is mine to complain about what I did... hence I got the blues with something blue...

The vivid hues of high mountain glaciers are some of the deepest blues I’ve ever encountered. Here are a few shots from a mountaineering trip/summit climb of Mt. Olympus and a traverse across and over Blue Glacier deep in the heart of the Olympic National Park in Washington State.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning! Okay, almost afternoon. Here's my "BLUES"

Here are my Blues
ReplyDeleteAnd could some techie help me with getting my photos spaced out and the descriptions neatly underneath them???
Thank you, Carmi, for this neat WET BLANKET (blue picture color, blue theme) today. It is appropriate for me because this morning I found that our old beagle dog, Adi, had peed her new theraputic bed. Thank goodness the cover was washable and waterproof to the matress.
ReplyDeleteI found yor meme via Google. The timing is right because I would like to develop a readership outside the channels I now blog in during MidWeek. I.e, not many of the MidWeek Blues group return comments.
..
great capture!
ReplyDeletehere is mine
Great starter shot for us, Carmi!
ReplyDeleteI'm late out of the blocks as usual; here's my blue post.
A little blue tape keeps the blisters down over two days of hard work.
ReplyDeleteMy first post above was made before Carmi posted Thematic 199.
ReplyDeleteTherefore, ahem, and such as...this is my official Got the Blues post.
