I adore it there, almost wish we could move there except for the cost of living being what it is.Susan Helene Gottfriedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12778191943289129869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-40292255066775782962008-07-19T08:40:00.000-04:002008-07-19T08:40:00.000-04:00Excellent post and pic Carmi - The picture immedia...Excellent post and pic Carmi - The picture immediately transported me to what life must be like for this woman and her dog. It is so different from what I am used to. I realy enjoy the glimpses you give me into other people's worlds.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-75530222659169969122008-07-19T04:24:00.000-04:002008-07-19T04:24:00.000-04:00CarmiI remember walking in San Francisco a while b...Carmi
I remember walking in San Francisco a while back and just by the Wharf i turned to see a couple walking in front; these ladies were dressed in very little and one of them had chosen a little see-through pink nightie....her girlfriend had her arm around her, yet up the nightie and cupped into her underwear....

so, thank you, you have brought back one of my abiding memories of life...an image i shall never forget....i just kept thinking 'I'm not in Kansas anymore!' as it's not a sight one would see in sleepy St.Peter Port, Guernsey....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-73598267242170963032008-07-19T03:35:00.000-04:002008-07-19T03:35:00.000-04:00I love this pic! Maybe because someone, sometime, might be seeing me and Theo that way - I tend to take him lots of places and he is so cute (biased mommy that I am) that people do stop us and comment. Wouldn't it be neat to see my pic up on a blog somewhere?

But I tend to do the slice-of-time thing with photography; as parents, we learn to do that anyway, both photographically and in memory. A year is a sliver of time in our baby's life in which we capture all the firsts, and then all the firsts of our child's NEXT year and so on and so forth.

I can imagine 500 images to wade through - for you perhaps it was nostalgia and assessment of your own work; for your fans (of which I am one), it would be like finding a treasure trove! 500 Carmi-pics...what joy!

Looking forward to the rest!

I'll also go check out the animal theme - if anyone, I should be able to contribute at least one share: 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 betta fish and 3 hamsters at the house, not to mention pics of the cockatiels we bird-sat for 3 weeks...there's plenty! Can the theme be repeated at some point so I can catch up?

;-)lissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05505435869876658799noreply@blogger.com
