At a restaurant, in a store, in the doctor's waiting room, in any type of line. Often something, some piece of clothing or jewelry she is wearing or someone else is wearing sparks it... big, big QVC fans all over the country, to them there are no strangers.srphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11751987787364198318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-4200224327883049132007-02-01T22:34:00.000-05:002007-02-01T22:34:00.000-05:00I love the blue color.

I have found that when I am riding my motorcycle I am constantly getting into conversations with total strangers. There is just "something" about certain items that opens the doors to these occurances.
Maybe you see someone with a camera and you instinctually know you are looking at someone who observes life and is probably open to conversation. I don't know what it is but it IS interesting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-45275447202431353682007-02-01T20:51:00.000-05:002007-02-01T20:51:00.000-05:00I worked at a riding stable on a historical farm o...I worked at a riding stable on a historical farm one summer MANY years ago. As I was walking down to the foal barn a couple was walking up the road to the stable. They stopped to ask me some questions, and it turned out the woman was from Sweden and her husband from Africa (though I can't remember what country). So there we were, three people from three different continents stopping to talk on a summer afternoon. Small world indeed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-84968959413825643532007-02-01T20:24:00.000-05:002007-02-01T20:24:00.000-05:00Carmi: I had a very cool Uncle who died young as a...Carmi: I had a very cool Uncle who died young as a result of cigarette smoking. One of the last photos taken by hs wife (now also gone) was in front of a store window you'd expect to fnd along 5th Avenue in New York. Dusk was approaching and his figure was reflected in the mirroe with a lighted cigarette in hand--sort of like a Robert Mutchum. Your great photos and thoughtful reflections brought that back--a pleasant memory!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16539850495318868267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-20704271114728053192007-02-01T20:11:00.000-05:002007-02-01T20:11:00.000-05:00WONDERFUL, Carmi....you spread some cheer and good...WONDERFUL, Carmi....you spread some cheer and good feelings...And got some great pictures, too!OldLady Of The Hillshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458879772193114892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449503.post-88619225640823798232007-02-01T18:50:00.000-05:002007-02-01T18:50:00.000-05:00Saying hi from Michele. nice to be back.

You never know where you are meeting someone in their spiritual journey. If you look at someones life like a chainlink fence you could be the first chain, middle or the last in sharing with them. It doesnt matter where you are on that fence just that you share your stories and be yourself. God takes the rest...there is a real freedom in that I believe.

When I look at your picture I am reminded of all the things that make up my chainlink fence...

And as for your question...there is no better way for me to connect with strangers than through my camera lens. That is why I love it!Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06195783449222301031noreply@blogger.com
