"You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle."
Your turn: What miracle will cross your path today?
A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

very wise and truthful words....I received a surprise "pay it forward" treat yesterday...it seems much like (random act of kindness) but it certainly is taking over a lot around here lately.....imagine if each one of us keeps going without breaking the chain....!..what a wonderful world for all......
Already crossed. I missed 5 out of 8 periods of class legitimately. Two cuz I was on duty at the Initiation ceremony of the new little tots in our school's kindergarten division, and 3 cuz we School Cabinet members were rehearsing for the Swearing-In Ceremony :D
I know there will be one crossing my path today and it will be a miracle if I'm paying enough attention to witness it. I'll try!
Thanks for the reminder to keep my eyes open.
Oh yes...todays miracle:
Walking along the pavement, deeply into a book, ears alert to nearby traffic, eyes alert to swishingpast cyclists....my foot hesitates less than an inch away from the pavement as I suddenly lurch sideways and come to a halt against a fence.
Just behind me, on the pavement, sat The Largest reason why our local council fines dog walkers for not clearing up after their dog!
Missed. Narrowly missed. I would have had to turn back. And throw away my shoes. ((shudder))
I have not been so deeply grateful...for quite some time!
[By the time I came home, some public spirited person had removed said offensive object.]
