Just across the street from a busy frozen yogurt shop, an unassuming one-storey building sits empty, the lights of parked cars occasionally slashing through dirty glass windows, washing across the dusty concrete floor.

It used to be a paint store, a local source of colour, yet now seems barely able to hold on to what little colour is left.

It’s a silent reminder that nothing lasts forever, that some memories remain fused in the minds of those who used to live here, while others disappear among the fleeting lights of neighbours too busy to care about what once was.
