Naughty or...

It turns out that Mom was right all along: It does pay to be nice. Crackers can't be wrong, after all. Not when their complex surfaces and sugary coatings do such wonders with light and shadow.

Your turn: Words embossed in food. Why?

  8. It's to give someone like you an additional reason to photograph it!

Not that you need a reason to photograph food, plants, buildings, our children....

    I love them all!!

  12. Here all by myself.

Words in crackers, although this looks like a cookie with the sugar on top.
I had to think about this one... I know, you say she has too much time on her hands.

    Three thoughts:
    1. I remember a shortbread cookie with the brand name embossed on top. Brand recognition was the reasoning I suppose.

2 Why do they make animal crackers in the shape of animals? Similar novelty working here.

    3. With kids spending so much time on video games, iPods and TV... snack time may be their only time to READ!

  13. Your turn: Words embossed in food. Why?

So you could buy the thing -- and then eat your own words, of course.

  15. Warm fuzzy messages so you associate them with eating the product and buy! "Pantry" cookies straight from mom!
