Looking over the railing

Wood and water
Lake Worth, Florida, December 2006 [Click to enlarge]

Sometimes, the most memorable images of being in a unique place are also the most abstract.

Your turn: What three words come to mind when you first view this image?

  1. I didn't have three words...you know me, not great with words...but I was just amazed at the picture...the wood and the water almost flowed together seamlessly. I would have never seen that...you have an awesome eye!!

  2. Carmi...this is my favorite shot of the beach yet!

Three words...soothing (I love brown and teal hues together)....Peek...it reminds me of a kids view peeking over the railing while on his tiptoes...and the last word would be....sand...when I first saw this when it loaded I thought it was the sand on the beach not the rail...

This shot is why I love photography!

At first, I thought the wood was some sort of interesting treatment you did on the photo, in place of the sand on the beach...LOL (oh, I see Anna already said that)

Thanks for the compliment, Carmi. Art school is all about tearing a person down and see if they get up.
