Turning the lens inward

You meet some really neat people when you choose to maintain a blog. I count Melissa Bartell among them, so when she asked me if I would agree to be featured in the September-October edition of the All Things Girl online magazine, I knew it would be a neat experience.

The piece, Man of the Moment, has been published here. If you ever wanted to know a little more about who I am and what makes me tick, now's your chance.

My thanks to Melissa for turning a nugget of an idea into something I'm quite proud of. Sometimes, you really do open your eyes a bit more when you turn the lens inward.

    You definitely are THE MAN....
I believe that your work that you love, and more importantly your Family, keep you grounded.
This was a pleasure to read.

  5. Liked the opening quote about blogging, Carmi. Daddy, you are soooo right.

Little worried about the Pooh beret tho. Kinda takes away from the Basque shepherd look - (that's meant as a compliment of course.)

  8. The article was truly a gift to a man who gives so much to others. I feel very lucky to have connected with your blog. I've said before that your genuineness in comments has encouraged me a number of times. You have done it yet again. What you said about blogging being writing in its purest form reminded me why I started a blog in the first place. So today I stepped away from the camera and filters and just wrote. I wrote what I saw in my mind when I awoke this morning. And I felt great when I finished. Thanks again.

  9. What an INteresting article. While I've lurked around here and commented often (even having read your 100 Things posts), it was INteresting to learn more about you. It was a well done interview.

Have you ever seen the Bugs Bunny episode where he meets up with the mad scientist and the big, red, hairy monster? You can check it out here and find out why the word INteresting is stuck in my head. :D
