"Wherever there is a human being there is an opportunity for kindness."Dear British looters: I hope you're listening. Come to think of it, I hope the government is listening, too. Either way, the country needs more kindness. So does the rest of the world.

And here I thought the U.S. only had illogical fools... The Watts riot, Rodney King incident... people rioting because their team did not win the championship- how ridiculous is that.. or just for the sake of rioting.. no rhyme or reason.. I agree w/the quote and your sentiment.BTW guess common sense went out w/the bath water, eh? I have no patience for nonsensical actions or views.
ReplyDelete"there is an opportunity...."
ReplyDeleteLet's hope that opportunity is taken!
THANKYOU!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely thing to wish for us
it's been wonderul watching the way that countless quite ordinary people have come forward and wanted to do something to help
(our streets here in manchester have never been so clean!)
but....do you supose that the international media wanted to report this?
noooooooo
Do you suppose they wanted to show images of the gathered meetings?
no. the cameras were switched off.
However we'd like more and more kindness please! our city has had a taste of what kindnessX 100 feels like....i think we'll do it more often now
;)
