A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

Blizzard conditions
Remember this? It's from a wintry - and decidedly white - January afternoon, but I found myself thinking of winter last night as I walked the dog. There was a distinct nip in the air and before long I found myself buttoning buttons and zipping zippers in a vain attempt to keep the advancing cold at bay. Summer's over, folks, and it's only a matter of time before we're seeing this out the window. Nice thought to end the work week, no?

I hate being cold!
ReplyDeleteOops! Not a vision I'm looking forward to.....
ReplyDeleteThe last time I saw snow was when I visited UK in November 2010. It’s still blazing hot here in Lanzarote and we never have snow! I hate the cold.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! This kind of scene has gives me chills and not because of the cold. I drove through the night through a heavy blizzard through Donner's Pass. Near zero visibility but I knew the road well enough to know the steep cliffs on the edge! On the theme of white --- you should have seen my knuckles on the steering wheel!
