I think it means regardless of who, what we are we are all basically the same.. We all desire, achieve, fail... We are all human...We differ in how we achieve, fail... basically we are all the same.

It doesn't matter who you are, how rich you think you are, how important you think you are or how superior you think you are, death is the final equalizer and no one can avoid it.
