On friendship, without strings

"'Why did you do all this for me?' Wilbur asked. 'I don't deserve it. I've never done anything for you.'

'You have been my friend,' replied Charlotte. 'That in itself is a tremendous thing.'"

  1. For me, it isn't just about all those memories and good times shared,or knowing doing nothing special still rocks. It's like anything we keep up with. A wise man once told me- relationships (all kinds) are like bank accounts, we have to keep making deposits, or finally the account becomes empty! Everything always seems to be a work in progress to get it right!

  2. for me,
a best friend is someone who you can be totally honest with, without being judged...a person who accepts you for who you are. best friends will be there for each other, no matter what.

(sometimes i think the word 'friend' has lost its true meaning nowadays...how can a person have HUNDREDS of friends?!)

  4. I agree with laura - I have few real friends, but count myself lucky to have them.
