Strength - I like it!!
ReplyDeleteThat tree has a lot of history- that is if you're going by the amount of lines in the trunk...
ReplyDeleteI like it, a lot. There is a huge cottonwood tree standing by itself out in the desert by Capitol Reef Natl Park that had special significance to my family. It's off the beaten path and we used to meet down there for camping. It's also where we threw my mom's ashes to the wind, as she asked. Your tree reminds me of that spot, and it's significance.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful. When you enlarge it there is so much colour - and the textures are great. lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteI like it too. It prompts introspection. I am glad you are taking time to be thoughtful. My thoughts have been with you and your family.
ReplyDeleteNice picture, Carmi.
