"Everbody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."The famed physicist hit the headlines again this week when the fourth European Space Agency Automated Transfer Vehicle (aka ATV-4) was lofted into orbit atop an Ariane 5 heavy-lift rocket. Per ESA tradition, the cargo ship, which docks with the International Space Station next week, is named after a famous European scientist. Jules Verne, Johannes Kepler and Edoardo Amalfi have already flown, while Georges Lemaitre will close out the program on flight 5 next year. (Don't worry, though, as ESA is planning on using the technology as the basis for a service module for NASA's Orion capsule, and possibly other applications, as well.)
Albert Einstein
Einstein may have died 58 years ago, but he's clearly still making his mark here on Earth and well above it. Beyond his scientific genius, he was a keen observer of the human condition, and his words, as evidenced here, continue to inspire. Now I'm guessing it's up to us to heed his advice.
Your turn: I'm a big believer in words that inspire. What words or quotes inspire you? Feel free to share here.
Oh where to begin? I have a whole notebook called Quotes in Evernote :)
