A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

Stunning. What a great capture.
ReplyDeleteIs this taken with a digital camera? Because whenever I fly, I find that the airline won't let us turn on digital devices until we are too high up to get a shot like this. (Mind you, our cities are a little smaller than New York :))
ReplyDeleteAunt Snow: Thanks! The dirty and scratched plastic windows are always a challenge, but I've still got to try.
ReplyDeleteCatherine: Yes, I was using my pocketable Canon. I think the same rules apply here and I'm pretty sure I was breaking those electronic-devices-in-flight rules. Generally, ANY electronic devices are banned during takeoff/climbout and descent/landing, while electronic devices that transmit add an additional rule - must be in airplane/non-transmit mode - during cruise. This technically allows us to use digicams during cruise, which puts me in clear violation, as this was about 1 minute after takeoff. One of these days, I'm going to get my wrist slapped :)
