"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these."This quote rocked me a little - okay, a lot - when I first read it. How quick we can be to judge. And how quickly we forget how little - time, circumstance, whatever - actually separates us.

I love this quote because it says it all. Tolerant does not mean being a road, but at least having some understanding.
ReplyDeleteReally nice quote. I believe that Benjamin Button met all those criteria at the same time.
