Scary place to be London, ON October 2014 |
The creeping advance of autumn brings with it two rather cruel truths:
Since it's only a matter of time before we both leave and return home in total darkness, I thought we'd embrace that fact with this week's Thematic theme, "When night falls."
Your turn: Grab a night-themed shot, post it to your blog or website, then leave a comment here letting folks know where to find it. Visit other participants to share the photographic fun. Feel free to share additional pics through the week, and don't be shy to pull a friend into the fray. I hear they like that kind of thing. For more info on how Thematic works, head here. Enjoy, and thanks!
- Peak color has come and gone, leaving a swirling mess of brown leaves and grey landscapes in its wake
- Nightfall comes ever earlier with each passing day

This really looks like a place I would not like to be at night! Very atmospheric, Carmi.
ReplyDeleteHere are some shots taken at dusk.
Don't think I'd wander around a deserted car park in the dark! I had difficulty finding twilight photos, but came up with a couple. http://gillymaccsphotos.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteCarmi, eerie indeed. This gathering place brings out the nighthawks.

With all the focus on our setting sun yesterday, I had to capture the best actual moment, when night falls! Here's mine

I waited for a special event coming up to add my contribution - Festa, the festival of transitional architecture - amazing structures, all lit up.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know it's the last day of the theme, but better late than never. I do love taking evening and other low light shots, and enjoyed looking at all yours. You can see my nightfall shots here :
