It's sad, really, as life would be a lot less stressful for all of us if people simply tried harder to be kind.

Truth, pure and simple.
ReplyDeleteI will be honest in that I really did not learn this until I was out of college. I was a bit self-centered and as much as my parents tried to raise us correctly, they really neglected this aspect of life. I did learn it, the harder way, over the years. As I look back, I wondered how I could be so stupid, but racists who have converted to a more honorable attitude are also amazed at how ignorant they were!
