On pondering the end of the world

Carmi: If my Dad were still alive, he wouldn't recognize the threats we presently face. But I am optimistic that nations will come together with the U.S. and Canada in a coalition to destroy this unimaginable menace we hear about daily on our newscasts. It cannot and will not prevail against all of the good-willed people who desire justice and peace. That's my belief.
