Staring at rectilinear architecture in the burbs

The Grid. In Lambeth.

I was dropping our daughter off at a community centre in Lambeth, just southwest of town. It was a quiet morning in a quiet community, and we enjoyed the quiet time on the drive over, chatting about the day ahead.

Her mission for the day: a photo shoot with a team of photographers. Paid gig. She gets asked to do a lot of them. She's that good.

After she got out, I turned for home, only to just as quickly notice this ceramic tile design on the outside of the otherwise nondescript concrete-construction building. It was a grey morning, but I wasn't in too much of a rush to get home. So I parked again, and decided to shoot the moment.

It isn't so much the photo as it is a marker for a morning I don't want to forget. Kids grow fast, after all.
