Eyes open, wings up

On our most recent family visit to the beach, I was back at it with my camera, stalking birds and generally making a nuisance of myself.

Sea gulls aren't exactly exotic, yet for reasons I cannot explain, I continue to come back to them whenever I'm looking for a bird fix with my camera. I guess I just like them.

Don't need much more of a reason than that, right?
