Well, she's off on another adventure, which means I'm off on another adventure, too. The next few days promise to be action-packed, and both of us will be surrounded by lots of intense brilliance and inspiration. I miss my fam already, but meaningful work and shared success will ensure a bright future for my little brood.
Which begs the question: Why do I shlep a tattered old stuffie halfway across the continent when I'm supposed to be focused on the serious business of business?
Good question. I think it's because we all need to find better ways to connect. And if this Happy Meal castoff manages to bring one smile to one person - on the road, back home, online, or all three - then having her with me will have been worthwhile.
For now, though, it's wheels-up time. See you on the other side.
