Where we take the time to look up

Sometimes we can see images or shapes in the clouds above. Other times, we'll find them in the trees that frame the sky.

The beauty of this lies not so much in the image, but in the fact that we take the time to look up in the first place.

Because composition, pixels, exposure, and all the other mechanics of photography can be easily explained. The wonder of seeing something that no one else has seen previously? Not so much.
