Global turmoil means nothing in your world. If you’re lucky, you woke up in the morning and, like this little one here, played with your toys in a home filled with humans who adore you.
You went for a walk through the neighbourhood where you chased squirrels and buried your nose in a pile of leaves.
You came home and got treats for sitting pretty and not licking the inside of the dishwasher.
You curled up in a tight ball on your favourite blanket on your favourite couch. And while the TV played in the background and you heard your humans talk to each other, all of that stuff flew way above your head.
You may not know it, but the mere act of watching you do what you do - chase squirrels, lick dishwashers, curl up in an impossibly tight, cuddly ball, watch TV without being affected by it - soothes our souls.
You might think we’re taking care of you, but on any given day - especially on this particularly challenging one - you’re the one who’s taking care of us.
