I think we can all relate to this in one form or another. Years ago, I simply stopped being friends with someone after watching her treat resto staff like the so-called help. It was embarrassing to watch, and even more embarrassing to be connected to someone who would behave so reprehensibly.
Based on this recently published Slate article, I'm hardly alone. Enjoy the read.
