Dundas Street West vignette

An ordinary time
Toronto, ON
August 2019

Street photography from the before times.

For reasons I failed to understand at the time - and still fail to understand to this day - on a warm August evening in 2019 I took a random picture of a random stretch of Toronto's Dundas Street West.

It's remarkable for its unremarkableness, a very ordinary scene of ordinary people going through the ordinary paces of urban life.

Then again, they're probably extraordinary - who am I to attach labels to strangers? - and wherever they are today, I hope they're doing well.
