Depending on how you look at it, the water is either crystal clear, inky black, painted by the sun, or none or all of the above.

It's all a matter of perception, then.

Of where we choose to stand. When we choose to stand there. Which way we choose to look. What lens we choose to look through.

Hmm, maybe this is more than a simple Lake Huron sunset photo, after all.

Maybe I need to stop thinking so much and just enjoy the view.
