They're more than mere stores: they're often the anchors of the communities they serve, gathering places for citizens of this sparsely populated, weather-challenged nation.
Sometimes, they carry some really weird items. Like fried chicken-scented, KFC-branded firelogs. Oh my, if only I could have been a fly on the wall at the pitch meeting for this.
I wonder what Colonel Sanders would think.
