Thanks to Omicron, the pandemic now rages hotter than it ever has. Governments at all levels are failing to roll out vaccine doses in sufficient numbers, leaving citizens to scramble for appointments weeks and even months from now. That is, assuming they even have the means to scramble in the first place.
Chaos is the order of the day. So I’m going to try something a little different in my feed: pretty photos.
Maybe they’ll be of our dog. Or of a particularly fetching tree. Or of a building. Or of clouds. Or, as is the case here, of an airplane. A really wicked airplane.
It doesn’t really matter what the subject might be. If it makes me smile, or feel better, or think a little, then I’m hoping it’ll have a similar effect on you.
Trivial? Immensely. Necessary? Absolutely. Am I kidding? I’ve never been more serious.
So today we’re looking at Blue Angel 6 lifting off, tucking in the gear, keeping the nose down, and letting its afterburners do their physics thing. It’s really quite the thing to watch.
Tomorrow? I don’t know yet, but I promise it’ll be fun. Maybe more airplanes. Whatever.
