Blink before the pink disappears

When the glorious pink blooms begin to fall off the tree that protects the sidewalk near our home, we have two choices:

1. be sad
2. capture them in some way before they’re gone for good

I vote for what’s behind door #2, because while beauty like this may indeed be fleeting, the feeling we get from having experienced it lasts a lot longer.

Maybe even forever if we play our cards right.
