Yes, blogging is yesterday's news, but there's something, I don't know, comforting about having one spot where all your stuff goes. Like a digital journal of life. And I’d rather not leave my digital footprint solely in the hands of Elon and Mark. Playground. Ball. You know.
So every once in a while, usually when Planet Earth gets too rowdy, I wander through the archives. I'll be sharing them under the #10YearsOn hashtag because...well, not everything needs a reason.
This time out, I look back on a wander through the backlots of our city’s downtown core. It was downtrodden then, and I imagine it would be even worse now. Still, even the crumbling walls covered with dying ivy revealed the brilliantly colorful vision of a long-gone artist.
Window on a crumbling landscape
No one knows how many more treasures lie buried in the shadows of a rough-at-the-edges part of town. We just have to have enough curiosity to seek them out.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
