The red valve by the ocean

Part of me wants to imagine that a few turns of this valve would let out just enough water from the ocean to reverse rising sea levels and preserve the future of coastal communities like this one.

Part of me wishes the solutions to complex problems could be this simple.

Part of me still needs to dream.
