A year ago today everything changed.
For the better.
A year ago she opened her eyes and saw Michaela and Zach for the first time.
A year ago today she first made her voice heard.
A year ago today she got her first hugs and kisses.
A year ago today she started the lifelong process of learning what family is.
A year ago today the story of her got its start. Where it goes next is entirely up to her, but this bright, happy, funny, sweet-hearted little lady has already begun leaving her mark on everyone lucky enough to be part of her life.
That’s a lot of accomplishment for a first year.
Doubtless she’s got lots in store for us for her second.
We can’t wait.
