The canopy turns red

[NOTE: I’m working my way through processing the autumn photos off of my camera-camera - not the smartphone - so please accept my oh-so-Canadian apologies for posting these weeks after they were taken. Better late than never, right?]


Just before the leaves fell for good, they flared into a supernaturally bright shade of red. The arboreal colourfest lasted for all of a day before the winds moved in and finished the job.

We always seem to save the best for last, don’t we? I think the trees feel the same way.
