While waiting for my own little people to make their appearance from inside the maze, I somehow fixated on this. As their little hands grabbed at the blue rope on their way out, they hardly paused as they waved at me before running back into another entranceway.
Your turn: The next time you head to the park - indoors or out - take a minute or two to look closer than you usually would. You might like what you see. I do hope you'll consider capturing a photo of it and posting it online.
I promise to bring the camera with me when I take the dogs for their evening w-a-l-k. :)

I did this yesterday when walking the beach. I looked closely at the sand on the shore and saw a whole different world, and felt like I was "on" something. We usually don't look deep enough.

Playground equipment really does have interesting visual features--probably because the attention spans of the folks using it is short and sweet (including we adults who occassionally end up there).

ReplyDeleteHi guys. This is a crop of a larger picture of a fabric-rope bridge on an indoor playground here in London. The rest of the apparatus is fairly humdrum, but I honed in on the pattern of the rope-weave that keeps the little folks from falling off.
ReplyDeleteI took it in the middle of one of those long periods of quiet when I know they're SOMEWHERE inside the thing, but I'm not quite sure precisely where.
So while standing idly by with the other parents, I pulled out my camera and thought I'd occupy myself. As usual, I got weird stares from the other parents. Most of them didn't really know me. The couple of parents there who already knew my shtick gave me a knowing smile and asked me to send them the pictures when I was done. Bless them.
