A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

ReplyDeleteHis name is totally Frankie. With a heavy New York Italian accent....
ReplyDeleteNigel....he has that stiff upper lip goin' on...
ReplyDeleteI say you should name him Charlie. He looks like a Charlie. And he looks like a boy, way too ugly to be a girl, lol.

My nephew (3) would probably say "it's a burp-head"!
ReplyDeleteCool picture!
Happy WW, Tina
His name is Herbert. You can tell just by looking at him. Whatever you call him I like him better than my snow today.
ReplyDeleteScary! But I guess that would be a good name howabout Terminator? Even if he's meek and mild it would cause the little fish to leave him alone.
ReplyDeletename it after my "winter blues"
ReplyDeletewould ya?
George. His name is George. And all of his fishy kids are named George, too. There's hundreds of 'em. and they all love being named George, after their daddy, who they secretly call Big George, only so they know who they're talking about.
ReplyDeleteHi Carmi - I think his name should be Big Daddy. He looks like he's already eaten all the small fish in that small pond, so maybe he's saying, "Okay, who's next?" (He'd probably like to swim over to my blog, where I'm sure he'd feel right at home.)
ReplyDeleteThat's one big fish - Love the perspective you got on the shot too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a Gronk to me. We had a pet arowana when I was a kid named Gronk. This one reminds me of him... I think it's the expression.
That is one big fish! I've had a few fish in recent years..but my favorite name thus far has been- Sushi! hehe :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. It's defintely saying "What, is my butt too big?"
ReplyDelete:)
Wonderful shot... I think his name is Tom Thumb.
ReplyDeleteGus.. like the big chubby mouse in Cinderella
ReplyDeleteThat IS one big fish!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Grouper...they can get hugongous.
ReplyDeleteOh! I forgot a caption, how 'bout:
ReplyDeleteHow YOU doooin'?
(notice how his eyes are looking up at something? I love it)
I love Diane's name for him - Blue Man Grouper! That trumps mine!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a Buddy.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I just LOVE his face Carmi...LOL...He is formidable and loveable, ALL at the same tine!
ReplyDeleteA name for this guy....Grrroucho!
The Extra "r's" are needed because he looks like he might be growling....And also that he might just be a grouch....LOL!
Aquamario DaGruff
ReplyDeletealthough Diane Mandy's "Blue Man Grouper" cracks me up! I wish I'd thought of that.
His name is Sy. He told me so.
ReplyDeleteOh my that is such a big fish!
ReplyDeleteAmazing image. What should he called? He looks like a Humphrey. Or maybe an Algernon, LOL. Thanks for the visit, and the nice, thoughtful comments about the Dylan Thomas image I posted. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteBig Al
ReplyDeleteHe totally reminded me of the character from one of my kids' books. Big Al by Andrew Clements and illustrated, I believe, by Yoshi.
Big Moe.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why that's just what I thought he looked like. He looks like a Big Moe.
Oh wait and if its a female- she should be Big Cindy Lou.
My apologies to anyone with EITHER of those names :)
Carmi.. I think I'll have to go with
ReplyDeleteTheodore.. as in Geisel.. as in Dr. Seuss.. as in one fish, two fish, red fish, BLUE FISH... it was a long trip.. but worth it. Now.. no carping about it..
