A girl and her dog

Sweetly connected
London, ON, May 2008

I've never actually discussed the matter with our dog, but I suspect he knows how lucky he is that he found his way into our family. We're lucky, too.

Your turn: If Frasier could speak, what would he be saying to our daughter?

One more thing: We continue to explore sweet-themed pictures as part of this week's Thematic Photographic. Head over here to dive in...it's most definitely not too late to get involved, have some fun and stretch your photographic bounds a little.

  5. Given the abundance of boys in our household (2 boys, husband, cat, dog and betta fish and assumedly, the turtle), the only female blood is hamsterian - and me.

So I'm betting this lucky dog is thanking his big sister for the soft touch of a girl around.

    Gorgeous picture - as always!

  6. I think he would be saying "I love you!"

This is a very sweet photo.

We had a Schnauzer and she was a wonderful dog. So gentle and just the sweetest disposition. Also very quiet.

  9. I think he is saying, "You know you're my favorite!"

Or, "I love it when you look at me that way."

Or, I agree with Laurie, "I love you."

    This photo is precious, Carmi!

  12. He is definitely saying I love you.

He's thanking his lucky stars that we found him. And we thank our lucky stars that we have him. He might be noisy, and chew the garbage, but he is the sweetest most loving doggy around!

  13. Animals are such special friends... perfect models of unconditional love and complete empathy. And those that are given second chances at life seem to be the most grateful.

Frasier is a very lucky fellow..... I wish he could meet our Miss Daisy.... they would have a great time together!
