Must be some misunderstanding London, ON July 2020 This photo originally shared on Instagram |
Granted, I'm a CANADIAN grammar snob. So while part of me cries a little inside when I come across tragic boo-boos like this one, I'm too polite to actually mention it in-person.
So cue this somewhat passive-aggressive social media vignette. Technology for the win, I guess.
Besides, I'd rather be kind than right, and nothing irks me more than someone who lords their knowledge over the rest of us, but looks like an idiot in the process.
So as far as I know, this sign still has the same misplaced apostrophe it had when I first shot this around 18 months ago. But I have it on good authority that the bagels are pretty decent.
Well, they're not Montreal bagels, but they'll do, no matter what's on the sign.
