Patience is everything London, ON December 2021 This photo originally shared on Instagram |
It’s often said that everyone has a place, and maybe this place is simply waiting for its everyone - or anyone - to discover it and make it come alive once again.
As I take the picture of this dimly lit strip mall in the middle of a dark, wintry landscape on the border between suburbia and farmland, I wonder who that anyone might be, and what this place could look like the next time I find myself here.
From the outside looking in, it may look ordinary, even a little run-down. Okay, a lot run-down. But it’s still worthy of having its story told. Every place is. So is every person.
