Wispy leaves up high London, ON May 2022 This photo originally shared on Instagram |
It was a windy day, yet wherever we turned, these odd-looking formations seemed to hover over us. They didn’t move or otherwise dissipate.
I wasn’t originally going to shoot them because I had to get back and we were in a particularly tree-topped area that didn’t offer clear sightlines to this particular patch of sky.
But as we approached our house, I looked up, realized they were still there, and decided the universe was probably trying to tell us something.
So I stepped this way and that and eventually found an angle that wasn’t blocked by trees or wires.
As soon as I took the picture, the wisps faded quickly into the azure sky.
Weird.
