It isn’t the kind of thing that normally attracts much attention, but maybe it should. Who writes the rules about what is and is not worthy, anyway?
Which explains how I end up shooting an early-morning spontaneous still-life shoot while the dog sniffs the overgrown grasses just out of frame.
It’s another ordinary moment in an ordinary place, but by now it should be apparent to anyone who knows me that there are no ordinary moments or places.
Despite whatever we may have heard over the years, there are no rules to any of this.
And whatever merits attention is entirely up to us.
