She's my favorite, anytime, anywhere London, ON December 2016 This photo originally shared on Instagram |
Our washing machine died last year. Which was kinda surprising given the fact that it was barely 7 years-old. Adding insult to injury is the fact that it was a Samsung, and apparently the simple part that broke on it was part of a much larger, much more expensive assembly. Of course, they wouldn't simply sell us the little part we needed.
So with the prospect of a four-figure repair job, we were stuck trashing our barely-broken-in washing machine because it was basically built like crap.
Thanks for nothing, Samsung.
While we waited for the replacement washing machine - a Maytag - to be delivered, we found ourselves back in the laundromat to ensure our kids didn't go to school in strings. We had been here before*. This time, just like last time, it felt strangely like home.
