Ceramics and light Delray Beach, FL February 2023 This photo originally shared on Instagram |
For the record, this was taken in a South Florida KFC earlier this year, and I think it was the lines and shadows and textures of the builder-grade ceramic tile that first caught my eye.
I’m glad I allowed myself to play with the angles for a bit. By the looks of the bystanders who looked at me funny, I’m guessing most people wouldn’t.
But I’m not most people. And life is too short to make decisions based on whether or not total strangers would or would not approve.
So today we get tiled walls in a fast food joint.. Tomorrow is still a mystery. But there will indeed be a tomorrow. Hopefully from your lens, too.
