A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

Great picture. Were you standing atop the dumpster?
Could be Jonathan Livingstone seagull?
Thanks for the visit, Carmi. I am awed by the photos from space and humbled too. Also, when I think about how huge many of these galaxies are (some are many light years across) I feel so very insignificant in the universe. The first time I saw the ocean I felt this way, too. But this is a whole new ballgame, isn't it?
Seagulls are the lobsters of the skies.
Also, I once took a picture of a pidgeon that would put that seagull to shame. Don't know where I put it, though.
And why are these comments so... restrictive? No avatars, comment moderation...
Are you hiding from someone... or someTHING?!?
BEAUTIFUL Carmi...JUST BEAUTIFUL! Mind? Never! I love to see beautiful photo's and you take gorgeous one's. I feel like I could put out my hand and just touch this dear bird! Thank You Very Much! Always a pleasure to visit you...!
Wow Carmi, what a great shot! The seagull yes, but also the gorgeous sky!
That's beautiful. I saw a group of birds on Tuesday, it was as though they were trying to get into formation, but the sky was gray & it was a bit windy. I could have watched them for the longest time.
I love seagulls or gooney birds as I like to call them
No, not a seagull....LUNCH!!!
Nice photo. I'm another one reminded of one of my favorite books, Jonathan Livingston Seagull. (Which I thing you'd enjoy from reading your profile.) ... Following you back from the comment you left on Blogger Biggest Loser. (Thanks.)
No wonder that is a favorite. That is a once in a lifetime photo op right there! It's wonderful!
Carmi: Awesome. Reminds me of Boeing's plans for a 787 Dreamliner.
