Your turn: Where have all the boats gone?
A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

nice. still. peaceful. perfect picture...and looks like the perfect spot to just sit...and contemplate...
looking back at previous posts...as i'm so very far behind, as usual...your photos are wonderful! a breath of fresh air! and the stories that go along with them...
Happy New Year to you & yours! :))
I think the boats have all gone to try and find the 'cow that jumped over the moon'....
sounds like good advice
Your recipe sounds better than that Azor the doctor prescribed. I'll have to take it up with him next time I have to visit.

out with the fisherman i'm pretty sure dad and hubby took them out. beautiful picture so peaceful
Be still I'd be lucky that water wouldn't be still for long with my son around he likes to splosh stones in the water, actually that can be quite theraputic as well.
In the center of the lake, pond, or river with their occupants taking in the peaceful sights and sounds.
This picture states loud and clear that nobody waits for anybody. The same place can be with bustling crowd at a particular time but once you miss that particular time, what you get is what you are seeing in the above picture. Moving crowd with no attachments.
Hopefully, the boats are out on the lake, lazily floating around with fishing lines draped in the water, their holders hoping that nothing bites so they can just enjoy the peace and relax.
I like your recipe... the boats have been drydocked in preparation for an early winter and the photographer was taking a break before pulling in the docks?
Very nice photo! You are so right about lowering blood pressure. Water (in a non-storm setting) sure does have the ability to reduce stress.
I so wanna fish here!
John
now that is a good idea...thanks for stopping by to visit..
Max took my thoughts..
I grew up with the Atlantic Ocean in my backyard (literally) so water has always been an important part of my life. And yes, I have alays had excellent Blood pressure:-)
Beautiful shot Carmi!!!
Clinically proven.
This IS proof that being by the water, shoreline, and even docks that are empty of boats...still, life is beyond beautiful...and just so darn remarkable! Such a lovely photo Carmi.....!
I needed that picture today. Thanks!
it's me again on this post, but gee I just love the colors and the reflection and beauty wrapped up in this phot...it truly is one that should be framed...and viewed daily.....and one to capture all the seasons just to see each one in another light...! I'm not a fan of red...but the red on these docks just seem to pull you in!
who knows where the boats have gone? where ever it is tho, they can stay there
this shot is glorious!
