After well over 2 years of loyal service, it was time to replace my smartphone. This was a tough one, as I decided to ditch my BlackBerry (in this case, a Priv) for good and go with a Google Pixel 2. The camera was just too good to pass up, and I decided I needed to rip the physical-keyboard band-air right off and join the 21st century.

I decided to shoot some first-light photos on the Pixel before the rain moved in. I think I'm going to enjoy this one.
