Elements of nature London, ON April 2022 This photo originally shared on Instagram |
Hang around for a few minutes after sunset and, if you’re lucky, the sky will put on one last show before winking out for the night.
We can learn a few lessons from this:
- Patience is photographically virtuous.
- Those who hang in there are often rewarded.
- Those who leave early probably don’t appreciate what they’re missing.
- It’s always the right time to look up.
- What happens up there shapes everything that happens down here.
- We’ll never run out of colors.
- The sky will always find new ways to paint itself.
- The sky is a metaphor for life.
It feels good to get back to telling the sky’s story through glass as I gradually return to where I need to be. Looks like additional stare-way-up experiences are called for.
